Bell Slam ‘n Hell METHOD
This is a simple method based on the scripture, Exodus 28:33-35.  Taken from the idea of the bells being heard from the garment of the High Priest, we get this Old Testament “shadow” to use the sounding of the school bell to be our reference to pray.

Exodus 28:35
“The sound of the bell will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the Lord and when he comes out, so that he will not die.”
  1. Importance of the Bell

·        The bell signified the High priest was still alive.

·        Jesus is our high Priest and He’s still alive.  (Hebrews 8)

When your school bell rings, we are saying that our High Priest, Jesus, is still alive and well on this school campus and it will remind us that:

·      Jesus is alive and here (it’s His territory)

·      I will pray

2.    How do I do it?

Every time the school bell rings you are reminded to pray for:

·        The students around you

·        Your next class

·        Friends at break or lunch

·        Teachers and faculty

·        Your “Faith Zone”

It’s that easy.  As soon as you hear the bell, you bust out and start blasting the atmosphere in prayer.

WARNINGS!  The enemy’s number one strategy to destroy the believer’s life-style of prayer is to make the believer feel ineffective, unworthy, shy, weird or alone.

Don’t let your goals or personal “level of faith” or “short” prayer.  Every tine you pray you last the enemy BIG TIME!! Just keep praying and let God do the rest.

How Do I START?

1.  Create Your “Faith Zone’

You create your “Faith Zone” by deciding how many students or friends you are willing to commit to pray for on an ongoing basis.  As long as you are at your school, you will build a life-style of blessing and praying for a specific number of students around you.  Remember, your “Faith Zone” should be big enough to challenge you, but small enough to handle.

EXAMPLE:  Lord I pray that you break every wall of resistance in this “Faith Zone.”  Lord let your light shine on every student and friend that walks in this area.  Amen.

2.  Claim Your “Faith Zone’

Once you've decided the specific area as your "Faith Zone", then you need to make your first prayer walk in that area to claim it.  Walk and ask God to break down the walls of resistance to the message of Jesus Christ.  Your prayer will immediately blast into changing the spiritual atmosphere and shine light into that "Faith Zone".

EXAMPLE: Your "Faith Zone" might be your daily route from class to class.  Or maybe the area where you met your friends at break and lunch.

3. Continue to pray for your “Faith Zone”

Now that you’ve created and claimed your “Faith Zone” you can start to speak blessings and prayer on a consistent basis at school.  It is important that you focus on praying and not on the results of your prayer.  God brings results not us.  We do not bring results-God does.

EXAMPLE:  lord I pray blessings on my friends and fellow students that walk through this “Faith Zone.”   Let your light punch holes in the darkness of their lives and allow me an opportunity to bridge them to the gospel.”

Let’s Review.

1.  Create your “Faith Zone”
2.  Claim your “Faith Zone”
3.  Continue to pray for your “Faith Zone”

If you know you can commit to this then… Congratulations!!
