Who are LHP

We are Pray The Bay - a grass roots prayer evangelism movement into neighborhoods which is driven by the local church. Our goal is to live in a prayer covered San Francisco Bay Area. Working together, the church is being mobilized - block by block, street by street, city by city, county by county - until the entire San Francisco Bay Area is saturated in daily blessing prayer.

One Church - Many Congregations
Pray The Bay, now in the 9th year, is possibly the oldest working model of prayer evangelism in the nation. There are three distinct tracks. Harvest vehicles like Promise Keepers or a Billy Graham crusade can come in, set down on the tracks and reap a harvest. Special events pass, but the tracks remain!

Pastors Standing in Unity
To provide a context for pastors and Christian leaders to develop meaningful relationships with one another in order to establish servant leadership to support regular city and area wide prayer times and events.

Intercessors' Network
To network intercessors from all counties in the San Francisco Bay Area in order to coordinate specific strategic intercession.

Lighthouses of Prayer
To mobilize and train a massive army of people in the principles of prayer evangelism in order to live in a prayed for Bay Area... that every day, in every neighborhood, work place and school there is someone praying a blessing.

Campus Lighthouse of Prayer

What about teenagers?  Living through these formative years can be overbearing coping with raging hormones and relentless peer group pressures.  Does prayer/evangelism fit in their ever changing, personally demanding world?  Absolutely!  And, the establishment of Campus Lighthouses among youth is paramount to the move of God.

Youth pastors are networking, Christian Clubs are experiencing a new spiritual awakening and young men and women are saying yes to daily blessing prayer.   In school after school you will find Campus Lighthouses… punching holes in the darkness.

Teens are influencing the spiritual atmosphere of their campus by following the same simple, yet dynamic Biblical Principles of prayer/evangelism.  In addition, one exciting prayer strategy is called The Bell Slam N Hell Method.  A six minute fast moving, teen appealing video and brochure outlining this approach are available.

Campus Lighthouses are a perfect compliment for other planned events.  See You At The Pole is one of the pivotal prayer events on the school campus uniting the prayer/evangelism movement among students.

Outside the school campus, Christian organizations such as Aglow encourage Lighthouses among teens.  Certain Aglow chapters are introducing Teen Lighthouses of Prayer.
